Working at KMECCA & Modeling for the Promotional Video
This month I got to do something incredible: film a promotional video for KMECCA, a Korean-American K-pop merchandise company. My parents run the company, and when my mom asked if I'd model for the promo video, I gladly said yes.
I’m so glad my mom asked me to film the video because I actually trained as a model at YG Entertainment for four months, so I was already pretty comfortable being in front of a camera. Because of that, stepping onto the KMECCA set didn’t feel as intimidating, and I was able to enjoy the experience a lot more!
Honestly, it was such a great experience because it tied together so many things I love — content creation, social media, Korean culture, modeling — with business and even international business. It's cool seeing how all of it intersects: culture, creativity, and running an actual company on a global scale.
Fun fact: the store received a 30-second feature on the CNN Documentary K-Everything
