My directors and I recently launched the Business For Youth Interview Project, a series where we interview students, entrepreneurs, creators, and young professionals and showcase their experiences and business advice through short-form videos on Instagram. I’ve noticed that many students are either hesitant to start their own businesses because of the stereotype that young people cannot succeed, or feel lost about where to begin. I believe that hearing advice and learning about the experiences of other young people could inspire them to pursue their own interests in the business field.

So far through the project, I have been able to interview Chloey Cho, a UCLA student and founder of Solis and Luna Arts; Abbie Goddard, founder of Spikey First and an incoming Wharton student; and Nate Liang, a Brown University student and content creator who shares his experiences with personal branding. I also have upcoming interviews with Andra Campos, a Stanford University student and creator of Project Connect Forum, and Helaine Zhao, a Harvard student and content creator, and I am so excited to meet and talk to them!

I think it is meaningful that each interview highlights a different journey, from entrepreneurship and personal branding to student-led initiatives and creative projects. As the Business for Youth Interview Project continues to grow, we hope to build a diverse collection of stories and advice from students and young professionals across different backgrounds and fields.

Below are links to our Instagram, where you can watch the interviews, and our website. I also included a photo from my interviews with Chloey and Nate :))
