Publication in Unseen Summer 2026 Journal
This summer, I had the opportunity to publish an article in Unseen, the journal of the Korean Youth Honor Society, for the summer 2026 issue. My article focused on the 2026 U.S.–Iran crisis and explored its effects on global energy markets, international diplomacy, and economic stability. Through researching and writing this piece, I was able to further explore my interests in international relations and economics, while strengthening my academic research and writing skills.
Working on this publication was such a meaningful experience, as it challenged me to think more critically about how interconnected the world is. Furthermore, I was able to learn how global events can affect people far beyond the countries directly involved.
I am incredibly grateful to Edward, my editor, for reviewing my article, and to Jamie, the Editor-in-Chief, along with everyone involved in making the journal possible. I am also thankful for the opportunity to contribute alongside so many talented student writers. I’m excited for what’s to come with KYHS, and I look forward to continuing to write for the Unseen winter publication later this year.
